Scotts Slowing Down Pest Control Acquisitions

Comments made by Scotts during Wednesday's call with analysts suggest it is unlikely to make a big acquisition in 2015, in contrast to 2014 when Scotts acquired Action Pest Control, a $15 million company.

Scotts CEO Jim Hagedorn said the company is focusing more on other growth initiatives that aren't as costly like indoor and urban gardening.
