PMi Pest Management Systems
GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Aug. 16, PMi Pest Management Systems hosted its 21st PMi Jersey Night in partnership with the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Greensboro Police Department and the family of Officer Michael T. Horan.
The night honored the life, service and sacrifice of Officer Horan during the home game against the Greenville Drive. Officer Michael T. Horan was tragically killed in the line of duty on Dec. 23, 2024. A devoted husband, father, son and friend, Officer Horan embodied the highest ideals of service, integrity and courage.
PMi hosted 150 people as guests, over 100 team members and customers in attendance of the game. PMi Owner Billy Tesh threw out the first pitch, along with the father of Michael Horan. About $15,300 was raised for the family.
The Greensboro Police Department also had a huge presence to honor the life and legacy of their friend.
"It was a massive success. Our goal was $10,00, and we all left knowing that we helped make a small difference in their lives," said Julie Tesh-Clark, director of marketing and communications at PMi. "It cannot bring their father back, but I hope they know how much their community came together and how much we care."
Tesh-Clark shared that the Greensboro Grasshoppers also won the game that night.
