In an effort to continue PCT’s educational offerings to the pest management industry, the PCT Commercial Pest Management Summit is scheduled for Dec. 8-10, at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in New Orleans, La. The summit will unite leading pest management and food industry professionals for an in-depth educational experience dedicated solely to commercial pest management.
This high-impact, unique event will continue the successful PCT Technical Summit Series and serve as a forum for discussing current trends in commercial pest management. It will also serve as a venue for identifying future technological needs and new markets for commercial pest management services, and provide an outlet for exchanging information among professionals in this highly competitive market segment.
PCT is hosting this summit because of commercial pest management’s relevancy in today’s marketplace and its value to the magazine’s readers. "We’re excited to be able to help meet the needs and requests of our subscribers," said Dan Moreland, publisher of PCT. "We know how important commercial pest management is to our readers because they’ve told us. We want to do all we can to help enhance PCOs’ bottom lines, and the Commercial Pest Management Summit is one more way we can do that."
BIG NAMES. The two-day educational program features a cross-section of top-notch presenters, including industry consultants, and pest management and food processing/storage industry professionals. The summit offers two educational tracks — business management and pest management. The presentations will be a mix of single topic and panel discussions, with ample time built in for question and answers.
Attendees also can earn CEU credits from qualifying states. For the complete educational program and session and speaker descriptions, visit the PCT Commercial Pest Management Web site at www.pctcommercialpestsummit.com.
In addition to the educational program, a preview of the Audubon Insectarium is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8. The Audubon Insectarium, a facility of the Audubon Nature Institute, is the largest museum devoted solely to insects and their relatives. There is no charge for this event but seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
The PCT Commercial Pest Management Summit registration fee is $295 per person. If two or more people from the same company register for the summit, the fee is $245 per person. To take advantage of the group registration fees, or for more information, call Michelle Fitzpatrick at 800/456-0707 or register online at www.pctcommercialpestsummit.com.
