Optigard ZT is a broad-spectrum insecticide for the control of 13 pests. A long 6-inch trip pan makes baiting easy and helps to ensure a catch. Setting the trap is quick and easy. Simply lift the locking-bar to the top of its track and open the door. When the trap is tripped the door falls shut and the lock-rod slides down its track, instantly barricading the animal inside.

Once trapped, the animal is completely enclosed. Captured skunks can become agitated easily, but when enclosed in a dark, cave-like container they are soothed into a sense of security. A skunk might spray in a cage trap upon being approached, but a skunk in the Spray-Proof Skunk Trap feels safe and is unlikely to spray. A handle on top makes transportation easy and the compact trap fits nicely into a standard euthanasia chamber, if relocation is not an option.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has granted registration for OvoControl G use in domestic mallard ducks, domestic Muscovy ducks and hybrids thereof. The new product effectively controls egg hatchability and essentially represents non-hormonal oral contraception for birds.
Originally developed for use in resident Canada geese, OvoControl G represents yet another component in an integrated program for goose and duck management. In combination with other mitigation measures, OvoControl G can provide a comprehensive, effective and long-term control program.
