Bayer Environmental Science announced that Temprid SC Insecticide is now registered and available for use in California. Temprid is now registered in 48 states with registration pending in New York. Temprid is designed to help reduce callbacks by eliminating a major food source of ant populations, while at the same time providing effective residual control of perimeter pests in and around structures, Bayer ES reports. Temprid’s dual mode of action fuses two long-standing residual insecticides: âbeta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid. The result is ant control with quick knockdown and long residual control of more than 50 pests, including ants, spiders, cockroaches and other key perimeter pests, the company says. With its broad spectrum control and flexible label, Temprid is specially designed to be used both outdoors and indoors, making it a flexible perimeter product, the company notes. It can be used in and around buildings and structures, as well as on established landscape ornamentals around residential and commercial properties.

FMC Professional Solutions has received registration from the state of New York, approving Transport GHP insecticide for indoor, non-food use. Transport GHP is a broad label non-repellent product formulated for the treatment of a wide range of general pests, such as ants, cockroaches, springtails, earwigs and more than 30 other tough indoor and outdoor pests, the company says. According to the manufacturer, the indoor use registration for Transport GHP in New York will give pest management professionals the opportunity to use the product in any non-food setting, eliminating the need for two different non-repellent products. The new indoor use label allows Transport GHP to be applied as a spot, crack and crevice, pinstream, coarse or low pressure spray, for the control of general pests such as ants, centipedes, cockroaches, spiders, roaches, fleas, ticks, flies and silverfish, the company says.

Advion insect granule is a non-repellent bait that is highly attractive to a broad spectrum of insects including ants, cockroaches, silverfish, house and field crickets, and earwigs. Its active ingredient (capsaicinate) is completely organic, carried in a thickened food-grade mineral oil, according to the manufacturer. PIGNX will not harm humans, animals or birds and is heat-resistant to 200°F, the company says. Furthermore, it is designed not to freeze, melt or evaporate, and is weather-tolerant and resistant to dust, the company says. According to the manufacturer, PIGNX does not require a license for application.
