Bayer Environmental Science
Bayer Environmental Science has introduced Maxforce Fly Spot Bait. Maxforce Fly Spot Bait gives pest management professionals the opportunity to provide fly control in a variety of settings that previously could not be treated with fly baits, including inside commercial food-handling establishments and outside residential homes. It also can be used in and around agricultural livestock production facilities. Maxforce Fly Spot Bait can be sprayed or painted onto surfaces, killing flies in 60 seconds or less and providing up to six weeks of control indoors and up to 30 days when applied around the outside of residences or commercial buildings, the company reports. Maxforce Fly Spot Bait attracts flies with attractants combined with imidacloprid. Additionally, Maxforce Fly Spot Bait contains Bitrex, a bittering agent designed to minimize ingestion by non-target animals.

Earth Care Products
Earth Care Products’ Odor Remover Bags eliminate dead rodent odors, even if the carcass does not get removed. The bags will outlast the odor from any carcass (about three to four months in use) and within 24 hours the odor is gone, according to the manufacturer.
The Odor Remover Bags remove urine and feces odors from rodent infestations. The bags also remove skunk, cigarette smoke and mildew odors. PCOs also often use the bags in the cabs of their trucks and in chemical storage rooms. The bags do not mask odors — they eliminate odors, the company says. All Earth Care’s products are 100 percent natural.

Exaktime
The Jobclock System’s simple design eliminates inaccurate, handwritten timecards and helps pest management professionals reliably track what for years had to been accounted for by memory alone. Now, Exaktime has added a new product to its line of timekeeping tools — the PocketClock. The PocketClock tracks worker attendance on the Palm Pilot where each person clocks themselves in and out using a personalized PIN. Because it is on a standard Palm Pilot, it is portable and travels with the crew. When a technician clocks in, he or she is prompted for the jobsite they are at and the cost code they are performing. At the end of a pay period, all of the records download into Exaktime’s TimeSummit PC software where managers can print accurate timecards and detailed reports summarized by employee, jobsite and activity. The PocketClock also recognizes if a PIN belongs to a supervisor and gives them extra tools, such as the ability to clock in and out for an entire crew or setting the default jobsite for everyone. The PocketClock was designed to integrate with the Jobclock System.
