For the third year in a row, The PCT Media Group is partnering with industry suppliers to bring bed bug educational seminars across the United States.
The PCT Seminar Series “Bed Bugs: A Rapidly Emerging Public Health Threat,” will head to Boston on Aug. 4 and Orlando on Aug. 18 with two highly regarded speakers at each event.
These intensive one-day educational seminars will provide invaluable information about this high-profile pest. If performed improperly, bed bug jobs can result in costly litigation and lost business.
Speakers will cover such information as how to identify and control bed bug infestations in a wide range of accounts including multi-family housing, hotels and motels, extended care facilities, single-family homes and other residential and commercial establishments.
The event is aimed at PCOs, technical directors, service technicians, public health officials, hospitality industry personnel, property managers, health-care professionals, university educators and others allied with the industry.
Both locations will feature a pest management professional panel discussion. Michael Potter, extension entomologist, University of Kentucky, Lexington, Ky., and Christian Hardigree, assistant president and chief of staff, UNLV, Las Vegas, will speak at the Boston event.
In Orlando, Rick Cooper, technical director, Cooper Pest Solutions, Lawrenceville, N.J., and Hardigree will be the featured speakers.
For more information, call PCT’s Conference Division at 800/456-0707 or visit www.bedbugseminars.com. CEUs will be available (based on state approvals).
