WOODSTREAM
Victor has introduced the world’s first electronic mousetrap using "smart electronics" for a fast, humane, safe, clean catch with easy disposal, the company says. The patented Victor Electronic Trap (EMT) offers the combination of an intricate mousetrap appliance with smart electronics. The EMT features a patented tunnel design that guides and positions the mouse to ensure quick, clean capture with no escapes upon activation, Victor reports. With the consistent quick demise of only five to 10 seconds, it is the most humane trapping solution available. In lab testing, the EMT demonstrates 100 percent mortality when a mouse enters the trap and completes the circuit. Since it is achieved electronically, there is no clean up traditionally found with other trapping devices, the manufacturer reports. Once the mouse is caught, the signal light will blink green for 24 hours alerting the user to dispose of the pest. There is no need for pest management professionals to touch the rodent — simply lift the lid and discard the dead mouse.

BIRD-X
Ultrason X is the first-ever ultrasonic bird repeller for exterior use, which eliminates the need for an enclosed area for sounds to reverberate in a contained structure. Unique "silent to humans" harassments get rid of pest birds for good, the company says. Ideal for gas stations, open-air restaurants or food courts, hotels, churches, eaves, towers, small roof areas, shopping centers, hospitals, open parking lots and park and picnic areas, horse barns and more. Ultrason X targets pest birds with unrelenting newest-technology ultrasonic waves that guard your customers’ property all day and night like a silent security guard. Sounds move from speaker to speaker, giving a constant, menacing, multi-bird defense. This powerful sound attack forces birds to leave for good, yet it’s harmless to the birds and the environment, Bird-X reports.
