Whitmire Micro-Gen
www.wmmg.com
Whitmire Micro-Gen has introduced the Vector Eclipse, the latest member of its Vector family of fly control products. To pest control customers, the Vector Eclipse looks like an attractive wall sconce. Its handsome, contemporary design is right at home in any front-of-house restaurant setting, the company said.
Whitmire Micro-Gen’s engineers and designers achieved this look with a sleek, brushed aluminum cover and a low-energy LED accent light that further disguise its true purpose. Instead of hiding the Vector Eclipse, restaurants can use multiple units as accent lighting fixtures, giving them better catch. The aluminum covers can even be customized to better match restaurant décor.
Each unit houses two 15-watt UV bulbs that produce 30 watts of insect-attracting UV light. The Vector Light Blades actually channel light forward for increased range and efficacy. Its hinged cover makes servicing quick and easy. And the Vector Eclipse uses Vector universal glueboards — no need to stock an additional SKU on service vehicles.

The Magnum Mole Trap uses eight spikes that create a 71 percent longer trap zone, and a 48 percent larger trap area than previous models, the company said. The traps are made in the United States.
MGK

JetStream Water-Based Contact Insecticide, new from MGK, is a water-based fogging concentrate featuring Polymeric Surfactant System technology. JetStream’s formula delivers more killing power per fluid ounce, the company said, because JetStream delivers 24 percent more active ingredient per fluid ounce. JetStream controls crawling and flying insects, and is highly flexible. JetStream mixes readily with water, and can be used as a surface spray through a conventional sprayer. JetStream also can be diluted with water to achieve a .5 percent pyrethrum concentration for situations where fogging a lower concentration level of pyrethrum is appropriate.

The system does not involve software, computers or downloading. When a vehicle returns from an account, PCOs need to simply unlock the Atrol II and pull the chart out. They’ll be able to see in an instant who has taken long lunch breaks, made unauthorized stops or taken a long route to a customer, the company said.

www.clipsystems.com
The Quick Draw Clip System offers an instant, accessible and secure way to carry cell phones, GPS, gloves, cameras, tools, keys, two-way radios or anything else pest management professionals need within quick reach. This system makes it convenient for pest management professionals to carry items right at their hip that can be accessed quickly and keep their hands free to do other things. If they want to carry their keys, they can use the company’s ring with button attached.
The new clip comes in five colors, and a lifetime guarantee: If the clip is broken it can be sent back to the company, which will send out a new one. The clips come in two sizes: One size fits the button, and the other will fit current commercially available buttons. All Quick Draw Clip Systems products are manufactured in the United States.
Downey Products
www.global-accessories.com/corp
Downey Products’ Top Spin and Quick Flip soft tonneau covers are now available for 2008 Chevrolet/GMC pickups including the Silverado, Sierra, Colorado and Canyon (all cab and box configurations). PCOs can choose how to access their truck bed — by rolling the cover back or flipping it up.
The Top Spin is a top-mount, roll-up tonneau with an advanced bed rail design that minimizes engagement of the cover’s Velcro fabric fastening system until it is ready to be secured — thus extending the Velcro’s useful lifespan, the company said.
A heavy-duty rear rail incorporates a spring-loaded auto latch that engages the rail to lock the cover in place. A pull cord on the cover’s underside easily disengages the latch. The cover can then be secured to the cab rail using an integrated buckle strap, or removed completely using spring-loaded auto latches, when full access to the bed is required. The cover ships assembled, which makes installation (and operation) a fast and simple one-person process.
The Quick Flip is a tri-fold cover that can be opened in seconds by releasing two cam clamps mounted at the rear of the truck bed, sliding them away from the bed rails, then folding back the cover.
