Achieving More Together

December is a time to reflect on past accomplishments, and for the last 28 years the pest control industry has recognized in December the achievements of frontline service professionals with the PCT Technician of the Year Awards. As sponsor of these awards, BASF is privileged to be associated with this program.

Each winner is chosen by a panel of industry experts (Bobby Corrigan, Richard Kramer, Fred Whitford and Bob Davis), all of whom have a keen eye for identifying the traits needed to be not just good, but great service professionals. On behalf of BASF, I would like to congratulate this year’s honorees: Marvin Dalton, Accel Pest & Termite Control Virginia Beach, Va. — termite category; Matt Hall, Rottler Pest Solutions, St. Louis, Mo. — residential category; and Tom Kuligoski, Rose Pest Solutions, Saginaw, Mich. — commercial category.

Day in and day out, Marvin, Matt and Tom display unmatched customer service skills, work ethic and technical abilities. They set the standard — not just for pest control companies, but other sectors as well — for what it means to provide standout service.

Just as Marvin, Matt and Tom are helping their customers achieve the goal of pest-free environments, BASF is helping PMPs meet and exceed their goals. At BASF, we’ve partnered with PMPs to drive innovation, including the development of new products and technology. Our teams, resources and innovations are the result of meaningful relationships that help keep us informed of PCO needs and expectations. We achieve more together, and as a result, we are better together.

Congratulations again to Marvin, Matt and Tom, and thank for all you do to raise the industry’s level of professionalism. We hope PCT’s readers enjoy, and are inspired by, reading their stories in the following pages.
