The Face of Termite Control

As a 30-year member of the Sentricon team, Amy Chapman has witnessed plenty of changes — both within the industry and to the product itself.

“There’s no part of the system that hasn’t changed,” Chapman said. “The stations, the active ingredient, the bait matrix, even the Sentricon station boxes. Our customers have helped us improve the system and make it work better.”

But the most significant change may be in how the industry and its customers think about termite protection.

“For years, termite control was an event,” she said. “But Sentricon changed it to a service, with around-the-clock protection. Sentricon helps us proactively address the termite threat instead of reacting when termites are found.”

And while Sentricon has been one of the most significant innovations in termite control in the last 30 years, according to Chapman, more developments are coming.

“With new learnings from research and from customers, Corteva is continuously working to help our partners grow their businesses and protect their communities,” she said. “Sentricon is just getting started!”
