BASF has announced personnel information about its Professional Pest Control Group.
Bill Baxter oversees the day-to-day business operations, growth and development of the BASF Professional Pest Control Group.
David Davies is responsible for the U.S. launch of Phantom Termiticide-Insecticide and Subterfuge termite bait, as well as managing expansion of the company’s pest control portfolio.
Edward Lamb is responsible for sales support and national account management for the BASF Professional Pest Control group.
Derek Miller implements marketing tactics through the industry’s communication channels in the pest control business.
Tom Nishimura is responsible for providing technical support and field development expertise for insecticides used in urban pest management arenas.
McLaughlin Gormley King Company announced several key senior management changes.
William Gullickson Sr. announced his retirement and resigned as chairman of the board.
William Priedeman has also resigned from his duties on the company’s board of directors, following 23 years of service.
William Gullickson Jr. was elected chairman of the board, in addition to his role as president and CEO.
The North Carolina Pest Control Association recently elected three new officers to the board. The following were elected to a one-year term: President Bryan Heath, Heath Pest Control; Vice President Walt Cooper, Cooper Pest Control; Secretary/Treasurer Mark Brown, Hendersonville Pest Control; and Past President John Dunbar, Terminix Service.
David Spillman, Go-Forth Services; Jerry Gahlhoff, Centex Pest Management & Wilson Pest Control; and Brian Windham, Killo Exterminating Co. were elected to serve as regional vice presidents.
The following officers were re-elected to one-year terms as regional vice president: Mack Langdon, Smith Exterminating Co. Inc.; Duane Rose, Orkin Pest Control; Gary Filarecki, Pestar; and Fred Canady, Canady & Son Exterminating.
Robert Dillingham, May Exterminating Co. was elected as the region eight vice president and Michael Crow, Vopak USA, was elected as the allied/associate member representative.
Waterbury Companies Inc. recently announced the addition of several new members to its CB Professional Products sales organization. Rob Ives, Marc Graham and Kevin Keane have all joined the CB sales team as region sales managers. In this position, Ives, Graham and Keane will be responsible for the sales efforts of the CB line of Professional Products in their respective market areas.
Additionally, Robert Stocker has accepted the newly created position of national accounts manager focusing on key account activities.
FMC Corporation’s Specialty Products Business (SPB), recently announced a strategic leadership reorganization designed to strengthen the business.
In Neil DeStefano’s expanded role as the communications and E-business director, he’ll oversee advertising, public relations, information services and e-business for both SPB and FMC’s Agricultural Products Group, North America.
Laurie Tieckelmann will oversee the combined customer service function for the two business units as customer service manager.
Kim Watson joins SBP as the new global development manager. Shelley Woods Whiting has been named U.S. marketing director for SPB and Amy Gabrielian has been promoted to marketing manager, termite and software.
Dan Rosenbaum has been promoted to director of operations and business development for Latin America, specialty products and insecticides. Matt Robinson takes over for Rosenbaum as operations manager.
Maureen Thompson is the new turf and ornamental sales manager.
At the Speckoz Board of Directors Meeting held in March, Thomas Forshaw III of Forshaw Distribution and Chris Donaghy of Residex Corporation were elected chairman and vice chairman of the board of directors, respectively. Both will serve a one-year term.
Thomas Wright, B&G Chemical & Equipment, is Speckoz’s immediate past chairman.
After 11 years with Sears Termite & Pest Control, Philip “Doc” Nichols is now the company entomologist for Middleton Pest Control, Orlando Fla. He oversees the company’s once-a-year pest control service and product research and development.
