The Pest Management Division of Liphatech announced Ray White as the firm’s new full-time key account manager. In this role, White will focus on creating and fostering relationships with national accounts and new partnerships. He will report to Charlie Passantino, business director for the Liphatech pest management division.

The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce announced in November that that Bobby Jenkins, owner and CEO of ABC Home and Commercial Services, Austin, was named “Austinite of the Year” for 2017. “Bobby Jenkins is an authentic Austin treasure. He’s an exemplary business leader who truly cares about our community and prioritizes giving back. Bobby also leads through personal example often rallying others around a wide variety of issues that are good for Central Texas,” said Ellen Wood, chairman of the Greater Austin Chamber. “He embodies the philosophy that ‘Good Community is Good Business.’”

Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Mike Nickerson to sales development manager, Western Region. His office will be based at the company’s Leadership & Training Center in Tucson with a focus on the Arizona and California service offices. In other news at the firm, Marty Phipps was promoted to Florida and East Coast Mouse Limo Driver. Phipps takes over for longtime Truly Nolen employee Jack Martin, who is semi-retiring after 14 years. Martin will continue working with the company on special events.

This year, Mosquito Joe hired Lou Schager as its new chief operating officer to help streamline Mosquito Joe’s processes, further maximize efficiency and quality of services, and expand growth opportunities, the company says. Schager joins the Mosquito Joe team after spending more than 26 years in the U.S. Navy, flying F-14s out of San Diego before moving to Virginia Beach where he was the Commanding Officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 34. As Commander, Schager served two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan before becoming the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Oceana in 2014, overseeing all aspects of operations, logistics, safety and security for more than 16,000 personnel across three separate bases. Schager first learned about Mosquito Joe as a customer in 2014.
