Passantino

Liphatech announced the addition of Charles “Charlie” Passantino as business director of the pest management division. He will fill the role previously held by Manny Martinez who is now CEO of the organization.

The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) welcomed a new slate of executive officers for 2016. The new officers include President Lee Smith of Rid-A-Pest in Morehead City; Vice President Dana McDuffie of McDuffie Pest Control in Elizabethtown; Secretary/Treasurer Donnie Shelton of Triangle Pest Control in Holly Springs; and Past President Scott Canady of Canady’s Services in Lumber Bridge.

Alterra Pest Control CEO David Royce won the Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Award in the Utah Region. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Central Life Sciences named Steve Sullivan the 2015 “Salesperson of the Year” for the Zoëcon Professional Products division. Sullivan joined the Zoëcon Professional Products team nearly two years ago as the regional sales manager of the Southeast region. In receiving this year’s award, he was recognized for his outstanding customer service skills, key role in implementing new programs, and effort in exceeding sales expectations, earning a combined 139 percent year-over-year growth in the Vector and Professional Pest markets.

BH Stangel, dba The Pest Management Training & Consulting Center, announced the promotion of Deborah Gross to director of continuing education. Her responsibilities include working with educational partner Central Turf & Irrigation Company, of Elmsford, N.Y.
