Protect-A-Bed has appointed Gary Brooks as key account manager for its Pest Control Channel. Environmental Pest Service, Sarasota, Fla. announced a series of management changes. George Pickhardt, EPS’s chairman and a leader of the organization for more than 44 years, also is serving as interim chief executive officer as the company searches for its next leader. Joe Finney, a significant driver of EPS’s success the past three years, moved out of the CEO role but will continue as a director on EPS’s board. Michael Rolman joined EPS as vice president of sales and operations. Rob Swartz, the executive chair of EPS’s board, is leading a new operating committee to help drive overall company strategies going forward, working with Dave Bradford, chief financial officer; Karen Madden, vice president of human resources; Rolman; and the company’s regional vice presidents.
Craig Laursen joined Agri-Turf Distributing, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., as a territory manager calling on the specialty markets in the San Diego area.
Terminix Service, Columbia, S.C., announced the promotions of six employees. Mark Ledford has been promoted as manager of the Asheville, N.C. branch. Daniel Knight has been promoted as manager of the Beaufort, S.C., branch. Kedryn McDaniel has been promoted as manager of the Orangeburg, S.C. branch. Stacie Davis has been promoted to the mountain region staff. Katy Thomas has been promoted as the Pee Dee region administrator. Beverly Mills has joined CAST at the corporate office.
Chris Levesque has been named sales inspector for Reynolds Pest Management of Florida. Copesan Services has announced a transition in leadership for Wil-Kil Pest Control based in Wisconsin and Holder’s Pest Solutions based in Texas, with J. Kevin Jeffrey promoted to general manager. Jeffrey replaces Dale Bauerkemper, vice president of operating companies, who will retire May 1, 2017, after 40 years of service.
Bayer appointed Will Roberts as territory sales manager professional for the Eastern Canada vegetation management (VM) market.
Cassie Krejci, a technical sales and research associate for Polyguard Products’ TERM Barrier Division was elected to the Pi Chi Omega Board of Directors during NPMA Pestworld in Seattle.
Steve Robbins joined Forshaw as a territory manager, working in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he is responsible for sales and account management in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and West Virginia.

EHS Pest Services of Norwood, Mass., hired Brian Alexson as director of sales and marketing. Dayton Hylton, founder and owner of Knoxville, Tenn.-based Dayton’s Pest Control, was recently awarded the University of Tennessee’s Gamma Sigma Delta chapter Alumni Award. The award recognizes an alumnus of the Institute of Agriculture who has made an outstanding contribution to agriculture and related disciplines.
