J.T. Eaton announced Joe Smith was named Professional Division sales manager. In addition to this role, Smith will continue covering Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

McCloud Services announced that Michael Rector, regional technical manager, recently passed the ACE exam to become an associate certified entomologist.

The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) named Ashley Amidon as executive director. Amidon will oversee daily association, event and conference management and work with the board of directors to support the pest management industry in North Carolina. Michael Corprew Jr., former sales manager of Albemarle Termite & Pest Control, Elizabeth City, N.C., recently was named general manager for the firm’s business operations. Corprew began his career with the company 14 years ago as a student and part-time technician. Now he handles day-to-day operations for the company.

Nick Castaldo of PermaTreat Pest Control, Fredericksburg, Va., has been promoted to region manager for the company. PermaTreat is a division of Rollins.

Certus recently announced the appointment of Amy Wilson to chief operating officer. Wilson joins Certus after 15 years of experience at United Site Services, a route-based rental equipment company. Wilson started her career at United and served as a controller, a regional president of operations, vice president of field operations support and vice president of acquisition integration. Certus provides services in Washington, Oregon and Florida.

McCloud Services, South Elgin, Ill., announced that Training Manager and Entomologist Anna Berry, MS, .BC.E., has been named the company’s fifth Walter Award recipient. This award recognizes employees who showcase exceptional character and demonstrate a priority on innovation, teamwork and leadership.
