Control Solutions Inc. (CSI), Pasadena, Texas, promoted Sam Pass to PCO director. Pass joined CSI as marketing director in January 2022. Previously, Pass served as a market manager and PCO market sales specialist for a specialty chemical company. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where he studied entomology and nematology. Currently, he is working to earn his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Pass grew up working in the pest management industry and spent more than five years as a technician at his father’s former company, Action Pest Control, Evansville, Ind.
Liphatech announced Daniel De Poli as its new business manager for Latin America. He is responsible for expanding the sales and marketing of Liphatech’s full line of rodenticides and bait stations throughout the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Before joining Liphatech, De Poli was BWI Companies’ business manager for export and the state of Florida. Prior to that, he worked at Univar for four years as director of Latin America export services. He has been in the pest control industry for more than 20 years and is a former athlete who played rugby in Argentina.
Turner Pest Control, Jacksonville, Fla., announced the appointment of Leanne Prewitt to director of operations. Prewitt was president of Impact Pest Elimination, which was acquired by Turner in December 2021. The company served customers throughout the Sarasota, Tampa and Tarpon Springs areas. Prewitt has nearly two decades of experience in the pest control industry.
Truly Nolen Pest Control promoted Salina Nelson to junior accountant. She will be based at the company’s Tucson headquarters. Nelson joined Truly Nolen in September 2021 as part of the accounts payables team. Previously, she worked for seven years at her local church in a variety of roles, from accounts payable and purchasing to executive assistant. In addition, Nelson spent 18 years building and running a construction company with her ex-husband, where she did everything from bookkeeping to hiring.
