The Professional Pest Management Alliance announced the appointment of Brett Ponton, chief executive officer, Terminix International, to the PPMA board of directors as an at-large board member. Ponton replaces at-large board member Kim Scott, who recently resigned as chief operating officer of Terminix International.
Safer Home Services in Clearwater, Fla., recently named Martin Juarez as corporate sales manager. Juarez comes to Safer Home Services with experience in business and sales management for companies such as Hobbytown USA, Fantastic Sams, More Space Place and The Melting Pot restaurant chain, as well as experience with Orkin.
WorkWave announced Tim Robinson as chief operating officer. Robinson joins WorkWave from Real Green Systems, where he also served as COO. “I am honored to help lead the WorkWave team as we continue to charge through this next stage of growth, ensuring we are providing value to our customers and their businesses,” said Robinson.
Nisus Corporation announced Harry Bryan will handle a new territory in the mid-South, which will include Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Bryan has worked with PMPs in virtually all parts of the country during his time with Nisus. The company says he also has been a social media pioneer in pest control. Bryan previously handled the Northeast territory for the company.
Truly Nolen Pest Control promoted Lance Washington to its executive team. Washington, a team member since 1998, began serving as director of domestic franchising in 2018 before becoming the team’s 11th member. He will remain based out of the company’s Orlando, Fla., headquarters. Neighborly welcomed Brian Woods as its new group vice president of franchise development.
Under the direction of Brad Stevenson, chief development officer, Neighborly, Woods oversees global franchise development efforts for the company’s repair cluster of brands, which include Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Mr. Electric and Mr. Appliance. Woods holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from University of Michigan and an MBA in finance from University of Texas.
Nisus Corporation announced John Singletary joined the company and will handle the Northeast territory for its pest control division. Singletary, based in Manassas, Va., is a seasoned sales professional who has worked in the pest control industry for several years. He is an associate certified entomologist. Singletary is an U.S. Army veteran and attended Lord Fairfax College. He is a VDACS Certified Applicator.
Certus announced its appointment of Dave Bradford to chief financial officer. He brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership and corporate finance to the company’s team, including high-growth route-based service companies and pest control. He has overseen the financial and operational aspects of over 150 acquisitions in his career. Bradford holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Texas. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
