Coworkers are All Right

According to the 2019 PCT/NPMA Workplace Survey, 76 percent of employees were satisfied with their coworkers in terms of working relationships and job performance, a positive sign for the industry.

Antonio Briceno, Truly Nolen of America, has a vested interest in colleagues’ abilities. “I am a certified trainer so my goal is to train all my coworkers to the best of my ability in order to make them successful,” he said.

More than half of workers (54 percent) said their places of employment were adequately staffed to handle the amount of work that needed to be done.

Neff Exterminating is growing and Alec Rogers expects to have new coworkers as a result. He said employee retention is good. “They seem to want to be there,” he said of his colleagues.

Advantage Pest Control is the first place Rachel Alexander Mendes has worked with another woman service professional. Sometimes they work jobs together, which she enjoys, and clients specifically ask for the duo because they’re good at what they do. “That’s super satisfying,” Mendes said.
