BEACHWOOD, Ohio - SageQuest, a provider of GPS fleet tracking and management products, announced that Doug Engerman has joined the company as its vice president of business development.
With over two decades of experience in leadership roles at companies focused on wireless and mobile resource management solutions, Engerman brings extensive knowledge to his new role leading business development for SageQuest.
"Given the number of opportunities in the marketplace today, we realized that it was the perfect time to bring in someone who was well established in the industry and able to provide an experienced viewpoint on our business development programs," said SageQuest Executive Vice President and CFO David Lowman. His leadership will accelerate our ability to increase sales and further penetrate the market."
In his new role, Engerman will lead SageQuest's integrated partnerships program and a growing network of agents and resellers of SageQuest's GPS fleet tracking solution, Mobile Control.
Formerly, Engerman held positions as Senior Vice President of Market Development, COO and President and CEO of Broadband Management Solutions at C-COR Inc., a company providing products and services to the broadband communications industry. His responsibilities at C-COR included creating and implementing strategies for the growth of C-COR's OSS solutions, partnerships, acquisitions and mobile workforce management systems. He has also held executive-level positions at MDSI Mobile Data Solutions Incorporated (now Ventyx), a provider of workforce management solutions, Alliance Systems, an industry pioneer in wireless software solutions for mobile workforce automation and Sapias Inc., a provider of GPS tracking and workforce management solutions.
