An outstanding urban entomologist and bed bug expert with nearly 25 years of research experience, Romero holds a veterinary degree, with graduate studies in veterinary and urban entomology. He has used his knowledge to address public health issues caused by arthropod pests and has spent over 12 years as a professor focusing on reemerging bed bugs and the improved management of these pests. Within the pest management industry, Romero has contributed:
