TAMPA, Fla. – Environmental Pest Services has relocated its corporate headquarters to Tampa. The company, which was previously based out of Sarasota, signed a five-year lease on a 7,800-square-foot office space in Bay West Center, a Cushman & Wakefield property, located at 5670 W. Cypress Street.
“Tampa puts us in a prime location to attract top talent as our organization continues to grow,” said George Pickhardt, chairman of Environmental Pest Service. “Given that EPS has locations in Georgia and, recently, North Carolina, being close to a major airport also became increasingly more important for our leadership team.”
Environmental Pest Service has experienced exponential growth over the last several years. Since 2010, the company has acquired and merged with 80 companies, including 6 acquisitions in 2016. The organization’s growth strategy is based on expanding through mergers and acquisitions, while also fostering organic growth by maintaining high levels of customer service and employee retention.
In 2016, Environmental Pest Service was ranked No. 19 on Pest Control Technology’s “Top 100” list, an annual listing of the nation’s largest pest control companies ranked by revenues. The company had significant year-over-year revenue growth, with its annual revenues increasing by 30 percent from 2014 to 2015.
“We’ve seen a great deal of growth over the last several years and expect this trend to continue,” said David Bradford, CFO for Environmental Pest Service. “Our new space will not only facilitate but also accommodate additional growth for the foreseeable future. The collaborative work environment will also help us attract millennials looking for job opportunities in the Tampa Bay area.”
EPS utilized the services of Relocation Strategies-Tampa to manage the move with notable features in the space to include three innovative conference rooms of varying sizes to facilitate collaboration and all workstations encompassing sit or stand desks.
Environmental Pest Service operates four brands – Arrow Environmental Services in west and central Florida, Bug Out Service in north Florida, Skyline Pest Solutions in metro Atlanta, and State Pest Control in central North Carolina – and 26 branches.
