Evolve YT's AGP Beta Sees Positive Behavior Changes in January

By performing the prescribed activities, the AGP beta participants showed positive behavior changes in January, Evolve YT reports.

TRENTON, N.J. – Behavior changes are the first step to seeing organizational bottom-line results, and that’s what the experts at Evolve YT are experiencing with the Accelerated Gross Profit (AGP) beta.

By performing the prescribed activities, the AGP beta participants showed positive behavior changes in January, giving Evolve YT the results they were hoping to see.

The AGP beta, which is a new program developed by Evolve YT, uses one-on-one coaching techniques as well as virtual classroom-setting trainings to influence a service manager’s actions through a series of specific activities that will help accelerate the gross profit of a company.

“January was the month where we hit the ground running full-force with our activities plan,” CEO Phil Cooper said. “We took specific and measurable activities derived from disciplines taught in our Supervisor Development Courses to positively influence the behaviors of the service managers. And what we’re seeing is exactly what we predicted but is extraordinary to witness.”

The AGP beta includes John “Yanni” Petalidas from Pest-End Inc. in New Hampshire, Max Fischer from ATCO Pest Control in California, and John Taylor “JT” from Accel Pest & Termite Control in Virginia and Ohio.

The three participating service managers have been showing their perspective leadership teams improved behavior changes leading to positive results throughout January, Evolve YT reports.

Although some may be quick to discredit the significance of behavior changes, it is critical to remember that to move needle on gross profit, there are a number of factors that come into play but rely heavily on the actions and behaviors of service managers.

According to an article by Discovery In Action, “individual leaders have a mindset and range of beliefs, often at the unconscious level, as well as a set of skills and knowledge which drive their day-to-day leadership actions and behaviors. These actions and behaviors have a direct impact on the people they lead – their motivations, energy, mood, creativity and discretionary effort – which ultimately influence business outcomes, such as productivity, customer service, quality of outputs etc.”

The significance of the service manager’s behavior changes illustrates that the activities Evolve YT are using for their beta are proving to be successful.

“Our AGP beta is all about using specific activities to influence the behaviors of our participants in order to move the needle on the Five Key Metrics,” Cooper said. “It is incredible to see the behavior changes already and know that what we’re doing is working.”

The Five Key Metrics that are being measured for the AGP Program are: Technician Production, Employee Experience, Reputation Management, Customer Experience, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).

Cooper explained that although the soft launch of the AGP Program will be pushed back, seeing the positive beta results are encouraging.

“What makes the AGP Program so different than other leadership development programs are that we have designed it around the pest control industry,” Cooper said. “We take key disciplines that we teach in our Supervisor Development Courses but pair them with measurable activities to influence the service manager. Not only are we coaching the service managers one-on-one, but there is also a high-level of accountability and reinforcement in our beta to ensure that our participants are making the necessary behavior changes to see the impacts of it at the company level.”

The AGP Program is expected to have its soft launch in May with an anticipated market date of September 2022. For more information on the AGP program, click here or visit www.EvolveYT.com to see the upcoming Supervisor Development courses.
