PHILADELPHIA – FMC Corporation has a history with PestVets, the group founded by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) to engage veterans in their successful transition to a productive and rewarding career in the pest management industry. Since 2015, FMC has partnered with PestVets through the industry commitment tenet of its True Champions program.
This year, during PestWorld in Boston, FMC participated in PestVets’ sponsorship of the New England Center and Home for Veterans.
“We’re proud to support PestVets, and look forward to continue supporting this eminent organization,” notes Kyle Richards, pest & nursery/greenhouse market manager, for FMC’s GSS, Professional Solutions group. “Several FMC colleagues assisted in serving a meal at the Center and presented a check for over $35,000 to assist in capital improvements for facility upgrades.”
The mission of the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is to equip veterans who are facing or at-risk of homelessness with the tools for economic self-sufficiency and to provide them a path to achieve successful and dignified independent living. A service and care provider for former military service men and women, the NECHV offers a broad array of programs and services that enable success, reintegration, meaningful employment and independent living.
