Mount completed an undergraduate degree in business administration/management at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I., in May of 1994. He then went on to receive an MS in entomology in May 2007 from the University of Nebraska with a focus in urban entomology as well as his board certified entomologist (BCE) designation.
