NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Jonathan Amaral, a service technician for New Bedford Pest Control, has received his Public Health Entomology (PHE) certification.
Amaral, who started working in pest control as a junior in high school (in 2007), obtained his Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification from the Entomological Society of America (ESA) in 2020.
He is one of the first 100 people to pass the PHE exam. Amaral resides in New Bedford, Massachusetts, with his wife, Saydee, and their four sons: Jordan, Liam, Mason and Karter.
