Liphatech

Liphatech, a manufacturer of soft bait, block and pellet rodenticides, announced the availability of its acute rodenticide, TakeDown II, in a mini block.

TakeDown II mini blocks contain the active ingredient bromethalin and obtain results faster than anticoagulant rodenticides, Liphatech reported. As an acute rodenticide, the mini blocks are effective in fighting anticoagulant-resistant rodent populations and controlling heavy infestations, especially those in commercial settings, the manufacturer said.

The product can be used to target Norway rats, roof rats and house mice indoors or outdoors. Its 14-gram mini blocks are designed with rodent gnawing edges and a center hole for securing the bait on vertical or horizontal rods in bait stations. According to the label, a lethal dose may be consumed in one night’s feeding, but it may take two or more days for the first dead rodents to appear, Liphatech said.

TakeDown II is also available as a soft bait.

Armed Force Pest Control

Armed Force Pest Control announced the availability of its Yellow Jacket Bait Bottles. The baits offer a more effective solution than trapping yellow jackets, the company reported, as they work to eliminate the entire colony, providing prevention as well as eliminating infestations.

The product features weatherproof labeling and an attached, child-resistant lid compliant with regulatory laws. It is available in multiple color choices to match a company’s logo or blend into scenery. Other features include barbed elastic hanging string and four entry/exit holes for yellow jackets. Bottles are made of durable, reusable plastic, the company said.

VM Products

New from the VM Innovation Lab, the Airzonix Rodent Monitor features scent-driven technology that creates a concentrated zone of scent molecules that slowly diffuse outward to simplify rodent monitoring, reported VM Products.

Because it’s non-food-based, Airzonix doesn’t mold, the company said, and the allergen-free formulation can be used in residential and commercial settings, including the food industry.

Airzonix caps can be placed into existing rat snap traps with no extra tools required and no need to clean traps or handle monitors, said VM Products. The product has an effective life of up to 90 days and comes in peanut butter with chocolate and chicken scents.
