MGK
www.mgk.comMGK launched Vendetta 360, a cockroach gel bait designed to be used in rotation with MGK’s Vendetta family of baits and other cockroach baits.
Vendetta 360’s bait matrix is designed to entice stubborn cockroaches, MGK reported, and its formula stays solid in high heat. The product features a syringe application, and its label is signal word-free. Its formulation supports cleanout during active infestations and includes NyGuard IGR for dual modes of action.
“When managing German cockroaches, a PMP needs every option available to gain control,” said Tommy Powell, technical field specialist for MGK. “An IGR in a bait is your insurance policy preventing reproduction and is an additional mode of action, which is essential in treating stubborn cockroach populations.”
MGK said its Vendetta line offers three kinds of cockroach gel bait to address varying degrees of infestation: Vendetta Nitro for cleanouts, Vendetta Plus to help gain control and Vendetta to maintain control.
PestWest USA
us.pestwest.comPestWest USA introduced the Mantis Qualis insect light trap featuring Quantum X, a UVA LED filament lamp technology that involves over 430 micro-LEDs integrated onto a filament per lamp, the company said.
The filament arrangement allows UVA LED filament lamps to emit UVA light at 360 degrees, equaling the attraction of conventional fluorescent lamps, the company reported.
The lamp system provides flying insect capture through emission of UVA light, which uniformly bathes the compound eyes of flying insects, said PestWest.
Mosqitter
www.mosqitter.comMosqitter, a Ukrainian women-led engineering company, unveiled Mosqitter Grand 3.0. It’s a software-driven, pesticide-free mosquito trap.
The solid stainless steel trap measures 53.5 inches by 19.3 inches by 19.3 inches. Mosqitter engineers, in collaboration with entomologists, identified four natural components that mosquitoes are attracted to: CO2 from breathing; heat signatures from bodies; UV light at a specific wavelength that mammals emit; and human scent. Mosqitter Grand 3.0 uses those components to mimic humans, controlling the frequency and intensity of luring emissions via proprietary software. Users can customize modes, timing options and environmental settings via a mobile app, the company said.
