Northwest Exterminating
ATLANTA, Ga. – Northwest Exterminating announced the acquisition of Rice Pest Control Anniston, Ala. Northwest said the ability to further expand in the Alabama area with a team like Rice’s will allow it to better support community customers.
Rice has become a name known throughout the area since its start in 1956. The company was founded by chief entomologist Charlie Rice, who passed along his knowledge and passion for service to son and current owner, Tracy Rice. Tracy is retiring to focus on family. He said growing the company and its team for the last 60 years has been more fulfilling than imagined.
“While it’s never easy to step away, I’m looking forward to seeing the growth opportunities ahead for the team and the continued care and service for our customers,” he said.
The acquisition of Rice marks Northwest’s fourth office location in Alabama.
“The Rice team has a passion for innovative pest solutions and for people,” Stanford Phillips, Northwest co-president and Rollins division vice president, said. “We are excited to welcome and continue to grow alongside this caring team. We are thankful leaders like Tracy trust our team as a partner in growth, and we’re looking forward to all that’s to come for the team, community and customers.”
