CLEVELAND, Ohio — It’s time to honor your company’s service technicians who have gone above and beyond the call of duty by nominating them for the 2002 PCT/Syngenta Professional Products Technician of the Year Awards. Begun in 1996, the Technician of the Year Awards are the only national awards recognizing the achievements of the industry’s front-line pest management professionals. Each year a trio of standout technicians in the residential, commercial and termite categories is honored for contributions to their company, community and the pest control industry. The three winners are profiled in a special December editorial supplement bound into the pages of PCT and are honored with a plaque at a special ceremony in Washington D.C. during NPMA Legislative Day (to read about last year’s winners and their ceremony, CLICK HERE).
If you have a technician you believe is worthy of being chosen as a 2002 Technician of the Year send in your nomination forms to: PCT Magazine c/o Brad Harbison, 4012 Bridge Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113. You can also fax the forms to 216/961-0364. Nomination forms can be downloaded HERE and are also available in the May issue of PCT magazine (pg. 84). All entries must be received by Service Technician no later than July 31, 2002.
