Orkin Announces Promotions of Frank Meek and Ron Harrison

Harrison has joined the Orkin Technical Services Department as the corporate technical director, while Meek has moved to the new Orkin International Technical and Training Director position.

ATLANTA, Ga. – Orkin Pest Control has announced that Dr. Ron Harrison has joined the Orkin Technical Services Department as the corporate technical director. In his new capacity, Harrison will work on pest control-related technical issues and solutions, provide technical expertise for marketing initiatives and training programs and help improve customer retention and earn customer loyalty.

Harrison is an 11-year Orkin veteran and most recently held the position of director of training at the Orkin Training Center. Harrison holds an undergraduate degree in agronomy from Utah State. He has a master’s degree from the University of Georgia in botany, and a Ph.D. in entomology.

moving to the new Orkin International Technical and Training Director position. Meek has been with Orkin for more than 20 years in both technical and operational capacities. In his new role, Meek will be focused on providing technical support and training in both sales and service to Orkin’s International Franchises, helping them grow and develop in their specific markets.
