This should be another good year for mosquito control revenue.
According to the 2022 PCT State of Mosquito Control Market survey, 66 percent of PMPs expected the percentage of revenue generated from mosquito services to increase at their locations.
“I think it’s going to be a great year,” said Luke Lewis, Native Pest Management. More people continue to spend time at home, he said, and “they’re willing to invest in having peace of mind that they don’t have mosquitoes around their house.”
Tim Jackson, Ace Exterminating, agreed. Habits changed during the pandemic and more people are deciding to stay home and enjoy life. “I think that’s only going to increase the revenue, particularly, of mosquito work. I think this is going to be a great year,” he said.
Last year, 26 percent of PMPs said the COVID-19 pandemic had a positive impact on their mosquito control business, found the survey.
