Thousands of votes were cast in Shelby Living’s 5th Annual contest by readers throughout central Alabama. “We are truly grateful as a company to receive this great award that’s a result of our hard work and commitment to our customers and our community,” said Alan Farmer, owner of FarmerGuard.

Braman Termite and Pest Elimination, Agawam, Mass., collected more than 50 coats from employees and other local businesses in western Massachusetts to donate to the Coats for Kids campaign. “The Salvation Army ‘Coats for Kids’ campaign is an essential program because there are so many young people in our community that go without during the winter months,” said Braman Owner Jerry Lazarus.
