Valence Pest Control, dba Sun Pest Management, Clarkston, Wash., recently was acquired by Senske Services. Sun Pest Management was formed in 1969 by Marvin Jackson. In 2005, Jackson sold the business to Russ and Jenny Craber. The pest control company operates in southeastern Washington, northern Idaho and northeastern Oregon. The Aust Group represented Sun Pest Management as the exclusive financial adviser on the transaction.
Mosquito Squad announced its debut in California with a location in Roseville, Calif., owned and operated by first-time franchisees Rusty and Kimberly Cowan. Mosquito Squad plans to open additional California locations in Pasadena and Los Angeles. “Mosquito control is near and dear to me, as I overcame West Nile, meningitis and encephalitis,” said Rusty Cowan. “After being infected with West Nile virus in 2018, it sparked my desire to protect others from suffering like I did, especially in the California market, where West Nile virus is common.”
Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced the merger and acquisition of Valley Pest Control, Huntsville, Ala., a full-service company specializing in residential and commercial pest and termite control. The merger establishes Arrow’s presence in the high-tech and manufacturing region of North Alabama. “We are delighted to welcome the customers and team members of Valley Pest Control to the Arrow family,” said Arrow CEO Emily Thomas Kendrick. “Valley’s service pledge to their clients and desire for providing an outstanding customer experience makes this not only a perfect fit, but a strategic one as well.”
JP McHale Pest Management, Basking Ridge, N.J., acquired OCON Termite & Pest Control, Brookfield, Conn. OCON has provided residential and commercial pest management services in Western Connecticut since 1979. Jim McHale, president of JP McHale, said, “Acquiring OCON Termite & Pest Control is an important step in JP McHale Pest Management’s growth and increasing our density in the Fairfield County portion of our service territory.” Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company represented and acted as exclusive financial advisors to OCON.
Action Termite and Pest Control, Toms River, N.J., acquired F&F Pest and Termite Control, Blackwood, N.J. F&F serves New Jersey and Philadelphia. “We are very pleased to acquire this highly respected company that has a history of fantastic customer service and utilizing the latest technology,” said Action President John Russell.
