Arrow Environmental Services’ Ocala, Fla., branch is changing its brand name and will now be called Bug Out Service, the name of its Florida sister company within the Environmental Pest Service family. The new Bug Out Service branch will retain all service offerings and employees, and continue daily operations as usual during the transition.
Reynolds Pest Management in Florida has earned the service industry’s Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of service provided to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2015.
D’s Pest Control, Lubbock, Texas, recently won the KCBD “Best of the West 2016” in pest control contest put on by the area’s No. 1 TV station. D’s Pest Control also has won the Lubbock (Texas) Avalanche Journal “Best Of Lubbock” in pest control for 20 years in a row. In addition, the company has been awarded an Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2014 and 2015.
Hometown Pest Control, Delray Beach, Fla., earned the Angie’s List Super Service Award, reflecting an exemplary year of service provided to members of the local services marketplace and consumer review site in 2015. This is the company’s fourth Super Service Award (previous awards in 2011, 2013 and 2014).
On July 23, Pest Control Technicians, Norristown, Pa., celebrated its 40th anniversary at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. The event, open to employees and their families, included access to all the exhibits, a behind-the-scenes tour of its historical collections and a tour of the extensive insect collection from around the world conducted by two of the academy’s research entomologists. One of the highlights of the gala, planned and hosted by Founder and President Joe Silvestrini and Director of Operations Juliana Shinn, was an insect-eating contest between management and service technicians. At the event, employees presented Joe Silvestrini with a plaque honoring his 40+ years in the industry and Lucille Silvestrini with a flower bouquet. The firm is a Copesan partner and services clients throughout Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Atlanta-based Rollins, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Orkin, expanded its presence in South America and Asia with the addition of five new franchises in Bauru, Santa Catarina and Parana, Brazil; Mongolia; and Pakistan, which will offer commercial and residential pest control and termite services. The franchisees recently completed their initial training at the company’s training center in Atlanta, and will receive local follow-up training throughout the year.
Allgood Pest Solutions celebrated its relocation in Rome, Ga., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in August. Located near the town’s main highway, the new Rome branch provides easier access for customers and more space for technicians and the company’s customer service teams. The ceremony was attended by the Allgood Pest Solutions executive team and branch members.
