State Pest Control’s new Sanford branch office.

State Pest Control has relocated its Sanford (N.C.) branch to a historic building in downtown Sanford. The 2,344-square-foot property once served as a bottling facility for Coca-Cola. The relocation will allow State to add a four-person call center to its current operation, which will help the pest control company to centralize incoming calls and provide a more consistent customer experience, the firm says.

Georgia’s Active Pest Control announced the acquisition of Regency Termite and Pest Control, Columbus, Ga. “The addition of Regency Termite and Pest Control to the Active family gives us access to well-trained technicians in Columbus,” said Tony Carder, CEO of Active Pest Control. “The Active team is committed to serving the communities we live in with relationships based on trust. The Regency team are a perfect fit for the Active family and we’re thrilled to have them join us.”

PermaTreat supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

PermaTreat Pest Control, Fredericksburg, Va., supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October through a variety of activities. For several years, the company has been supporting co-worker Sherry Lambert, and her successful fight against breast cancer.
