Winston-Salem, N.C.-based McNeely Pest Control announced the acquisition of Perimeter Pest Control of Thomasville, N.C., earlier this year. Perimeter Pest Control was owned and operated by pest control industry veteran William Harris.
Certus acquired Arizona-based Responsible Pest & Scorpion Control. Responsible was founded in 1991 but purchased by previous owners Darin and David Huffaker in 2007. Responsible serves the Phoenix and Tuscan markets, allowing Certus to continue its expansion into the Southwest.
Arrow Environmental Services announced the acquisition of Statewide Pest Control of Boca Grande, Fla. Statewide Pest Control has offered residential and commercial pest control services for more than 20 years. Twelve of its employees have now joined Arrow’s team.
Massey Services, headquartered in Orlando, Fla., acquired Island Pest Control of Hilton Head Island, S.C. One of the largest, locally owned pest control companies on the Island, Island Pest Control has provided services for more than 40 years. Entering South Carolina in 2015, Massey has service centers in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Hilton Head.
Georgia-based Knox Pest Control pledged to donate $20 to Feeding the Valley Food Bank for each new one-year residential pest control service agreement throughout June 2020. The initiative included Knox’s Columbus and LaGrange service areas. Knox is a fourth-generation family business, serving customers for more than 85 years.
