Aptive Environmental, Provo, Utah, announced its expansion into five new states via 21 new metro areas. The expansion includes an internal organization restructure that will increase leadership in the field from 43 to 92, for a total of 113 area managers. The 21 new metros are in Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Connecticut Pest Elimination, known as CT Pest Elimination, Orange, Conn., was recently acquired by Orkin. Michael and Mary Ann Lipsett formed the business in 1990, and it became the largest privately held pest control operation in Connecticut, with 60 employees and an average of 40 vehicles on the road daily. The Aust Group represented CT Pest Elimination as the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.

Sprague Pest Solutions, Tacoma, Wash., announced the launch of its new website with updated content and client service tools. “The new Sprague.com is a bit more than a fresh coat of paint. It allows us to launch our customer-friendly tools and to tell the world what makes us different,” said Sprague Pest Solutions President Ross Treleven.

Truly Nolen Pest Control recently acquired Mr. Pack Rat, Tucson, Ariz., and will operate the company as an independent division. Kris Brown, owner of Mr. Pack Rat, said he felt selling his company was the best way to ensure stability for customers and employees in turbulent times. “I spent 25 years with Truly Nolen and was trained by Mr. Nolen himself,” he said. “I felt becoming an independent division of theirs was the best way to maintain stability while providing resources to help us weather any adversity the future may hold.”
