Rentokil North America acquired substantially all of the assets of Hoban Pest Control of Avon, Ohio. Hoban is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in Northeast Ohio and has won the Angie’s List Super Service Award for 13 years. The transaction allows Hoban’s shareholders to execute their succession plan while allowing the second generation to remain with the firm as part of Rentokil. Paul Giannamore of The Potomac Company acted as exclusive adviser to Hoban.
Edge, based in Provo, Utah, opened new branches in Chicago and Seattle. This brings the nationwide number of Edge branches to seven.
For the third year in a row, PermaTreat Pest Control has been the top fundraising team in the Fredericksburg Region Annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk. The PermaTreat team raised $15,645 over 42 other teams. The top fundraiser was Amanda Mallory, who works in the PermaTreat Fredericksburg office and is the daughter of Joe Wilson, former owner of PermaTreat. She contracted M.S. 15 years ago.
A+ Pest Control, Oklahoma City, Okla., received the Angie’s List Super Service Award for the fifth year in a row.
