Speakers:

Dr. Claudia Riegel boasts a long and distinguished career in the professional pest management industry. A graduate of Purdue University who earned her Ph.D. from the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida, Riegel is director of the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board. In that position, she provides technical support for the City of New Orleans and the pest control industry, conducts independent research, works closely with industry, and collaborates with government organizations and universities on research projects. 

 

Dr. Nicky Gallagher joined Syngenta in 2012 and serves as the technical services manager for Professional Pest Management in the Midwest and Northeast. She has a strong background in urban entomology with 19 years of experience. Her former positions include staff research associate in the entomology department at The Ohio State University and as a Development and Technical representative for DuPont Professional Pest. Dr. Gallagher maintains responsibility for all phases of field testing and technical support within her region and coordinates numerous research programs with university researchers and cooperators. She holds a B.S. from the College of Mount Saint Joseph (Cincinnati, Ohio), along with an M.S. and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio).
