SYLVAN GROVE, Kan. — Bryan Meitler, owner of World Pest Control, Sylvan Grove, Kan., was announced as the winner of PCT’s iPad giveaway for the month of March. From now until August, all subscribers who download the current issue of PCT on their iPad or iPhone are automatically entered into a monthly drawing to win an iPad mini from PCT.

Meitler has been involved in the pest control industry since 1979, when he was a freshman in high school and went to work for World Pest Control’s then-owner Leroy Gilmour. Seven years later, in 1986, he bought the company from Gilmour. World Pest Control now has 13 employees, including Bryan’s wife, Shonda, and the company services a 70-mile radius in central and north central Kansas. Meitler says his company does quite a bit of termite work and, recently, a lot of bed bug heat treatments.

“We take pride in doing what we say we are going to do, and taking care of our customers,” Meitler said.

Meitler, who downloaded the March issue of PCT on his iPad, said he likes the newest version of the PCT app (version 1.7) because he can scroll through articles in their entirety. He carries his iPad with him and accesses the PCT app whenever he has downtime. Additionally, World Pest Control has been expanding the use of iPads company-wide, including for training purposes, and Meitler has encouraged all of this technicians to download the PCT app.

Be sure to download the PCT app every month for your chance to win an iPad from the next PCT giveaway.
