Bayer
Bayer recently launched Suspend PolyZone, a new outdoor perimeter liquid spray that uses an innovative formulation technology to perform effectively for long periods of time in both residential and commercial settings, the company says.
The science behind Suspend PolyZone provides up to 90 days of residual control outdoors, allowing PMPs to increase the effectiveness of their current outdoor pest services while giving them the flexibility to extend the interval between services, Bayer reports.
Suspend PolyZone employs a unique formulation technology that slowly releases its active ingredient, enabling it to evenly disperse. Using a proprietary polymer layer developed by Bayer, this long-lasting formula adheres the active ingredient to the targeted area, as well as surrounds it like a shield against weather, irrigation and mechanical interference. As the polymer wears away over time, the active ingredient remains secure.

Bell Laboratories
Bell Labs says the Protecta EVO Express is a weighted, ready-to-go bait station that comes fitted with a concrete block for easy servicing and secured placement. Holes in the base of the station let PMPs anchor the station to the ground with a duckbill. Alternatively, the two holes on the side of the station will accommodate a chain or other device for securing it to a fence or pole.
Made of 100 percent recycled plastic, Protecta EVO Express is built to withstand the rigors of baiting outdoors or in, the company says. Its heavy-duty removable tray is pre-formed to hold a variety of baiting options: two T-Tex Rat Traps, two Mini-Rex Mouse Traps or a combination of traps and bait. The station is equipped with four baiting rods that hold eight 1-oz. blox. The tray also lifts out for easy servicing and, once inserted, the bait rods won’t fall out when cleaning the tray, the company adds. According to the manufacturer, while the station’s ramped entry is enticing to rodents, it is designed to keep children and non-target wildlife out.
A bar code installed inside the lid is compatible with pest management software to track servicing. A service card can also be placed in the service card slot inside the station or affixed on the outside.

MGK
Deer breeders and their PMPs seeking to protect livestock now have a more effective way with the recent update to Sector’s label. Sector, a misting concentrate from MGK, is one of the first to include deer ticks as one of the pests controlled when used through a misting system, the firm said.
Sector will provide reliable kill of deer ticks, MGK reports. Heavy infestations on deer can lead to poor condition, hair loss, anemia and local pathologic change at the point of attachment. Sector is specially formulated to kill tough insects that threaten deer health and well-being, including mosquitoes, gnats, biting midges, fleas, mites and lice.
Sector’s technology combines proven active ingredients with a water-based, polymeric surfactant formulation that is unique to MGK. The active ingredients in Sector deliver the highest performance profile available today for insect control in livestock, MGK reports. The insecticide can be sprayed directly on and around animals using misting systems and can also be used as a general insecticide for surface and premise spray treatments.

KRC Industries
The Raptor 357 bait station from KRC Industries features a unique patent-pending system that allows PMPs to attach the bait station to any metal or steel surface. The bait station has two powerful magnets with 35 pounds of holding power to keep the bait station off of wet and dirty floors. The station also can be used sideways or upside down. The interior feeding tray is raised, so when it is loaded, the bait is secured by the lid so even if you shake it, the bait won’t fall out. Three tabs in the back to hold a small standard size 1 3/8- by 10 1/8-inch glueboard for rodent and insect monitoring. The unit is keyless, but still meets tamper-resistance requirements and instantly locks when closed, the company says.
