Kness Mfg. Co.’s rodent attractant Nara Lure complements the company’s Snap-E Mouse Trap. The attractant is allergen free and is safe to use around food products, the firm says. Thus, the product is an ideal solution for food industry rodent control and monitoring. Nara Lure does not attract unwanted insects and it lasts up to three months, Kness reports.

Syngenta
www.syngentapmp.com/zyrox
Syngenta Professional Pest Management recently introduced Zyrox fly granular bait. It features a new active ingredient, cyantraniliprole, that addresses common fly problems, while serving as an effective resistance management tool in urban, rural and commercial markets, according to Syngenta.
Cyantraniliprole works by affecting the muscular system of flies to provide quick and efficient control, resulting in fewer callbacks for PMPs, Syngenta says.
Formulated to be highly attractive, the bait matrix of Zyrox helps ensure effective fly control at a low use rate (3.2 ounces per 1,000 square feet). Zyrox has been approved for use both indoors (in a bait station) and outdoors in the most common areas where high fly densities result in customer complaints. Outdoors it can be applied to areas used for storage of waste in refuse Dumpsters that are fenced in or inaccessible to children and pets around restaurants, taverns, hotels, grocery stores, supermarkets, bakeries, warehouses and sports complexes.
Zyrox also can be applied to outdoor areas of commercial operations such as canneries, beverage- and food-processing plants, kennels, schools, recycling plants, zoos and military installations.
For production animal accounts, Syngenta says Zyrox fills a critical resistance management gap for poultry/broiler houses, caged layer houses, swine production facilities, livestock housing structures and horse stables.

Rockwell Labs

BorActin Insecticide Powder, a non-repellent, flowing insecticide dust, is now available in a 4-ounce mop packet. BorActin contains 99 percent boric acid and kills a wide range of crawling insects, Rockwell Labs says. The expanded label permits the product to be used not only as a dust, but also as spray, a foam, a mopping solution and a drain treatment. BorActin is ideal for use in accounts with organic build-up where pests feed and breed, as treatment adds a toxicant to the pest’s food source, the manufacturer reports. BorActin is not negatively affected by the use of bleach or disinfectants. Each 4-ounce packet is labeled for individual sale and makes 1 gallon of mop solution. BorActin mop packets are available in cases of 36.

Pro-Pell
www.pro-pell.com
Pro-Pell is an all-natural rodent repellent made of essential oils featuring the smells and tastes that rodents hate, according to the manufacturer. One gallon of finished material covers a 2,500-square-foot home. PMPs can apply the product to house foundations, sheds, under decks, hatchways, garage door openings and other areas of rodent activity. The oils in Pro-Pell bind to the foundation and are not easily washed off, the firm says.
Pro-Pell offers PMPs an additional service for customers who call with mouse issues. With Pro-Pell, PMPs can offer customers exterior rodent repellent treatments and keep them scheduled all winter long. Winter repellent service is a natural segue from summer to winter and can be pitched to PMPs’ leads during the summer, thereby separating your company from the competition and retaining customers year after year, Pro-Pell says.
The product is available in 1- and 2.5-gallon containers. Each gallon makes approximately 10 gallons of finished material.
