Bayer Environmental Science
Bayer Environmental Science is offering pest management professionals 120 free Maxforce Refillable Buffet Bait Stations with each case of Maxforce Quantum purchased. These new bait stations are ideal for Quantum as they further extend the attractiveness of the bait by protecting it from the elements and eliminating bait absorption into porous surfaces, Bayer says. Designed to be a sustainable option for bait applications, the refillable stations feature separate areas for up to four bait placements using a bridge that helps ants traverse the station, allowing PMPs to customize the stations with different bait combinations. Each station can also hold a snap-in card on the inside of the lid to add company name, phone number or additional information.
Bayer’s Maxforce Quantum delivers broad spectrum ant control and remains effective for up to three months, the company reports. Its extended residual is supported by its hydroscopic formula. Formulated with a low dose of imidacloprid, Quantum attracts ants with its Simply Irresistible bait matrix and features the exclusive Maxforce Domino Effect for long-term control. PiGNX
DeTour for Rodents, the new rodent repellent from PiGNX, has received a FIFRA exemption from the FDA. DeTour for Rodents is a food-grade mineral oil that carries a white pepper active ingredient that rodents cannot tolerate, the company reports. DeTour is a contact irritant that, when contacted by the rodent, causes an intense, negative physiological reaction. Rodents that have come in contact with DeTour try to get away from the product and will, in many cases, either exit the structure altogether or become disoriented and run into other rodent equipment, manufacturer PiGNX reports. DeTour will not melt or freeze, can be used inside or outside, and works on every kind of rodent, the company added.
