Univar PP&S

www.masterline.com

MasterLine I MaxxPro and I MaxxPro 2F products are now registered for exterior perimeter termite treatments. Pest management professionals will have greater efficiency and flexibility in their applications while still receiving the long-lasting protection of structures and providing superior control to their customers, the company says.

I MaxxPro comes in two formulations. The wettable powder comes with two pouches of four water-soluble bags per pouch. The liquid formulation, MasterLine I MaxxPro 2F, is 2 pounds of AI per gallon, adding the convenience of a liquid formulation in a 27.5-ounce container (four per case). Both are non-repellent termiticide/insecticides that provide a proven barrier or zone around structures, Univar PP&S says. The unique chemistry is designed to bind to the soil. Because the products are non-repellent, termites cannot detect it and readily move through the treated areas.

Bayer Environmental Science

www.backedbybayer.com

Bayer Environmental Science has added earwigs and crazy ants to the label of Maxforce Complete Brand Granular Insect Bait, a broad-spectrum bait. The company says Complete's formulation allows for better bait acceptance by a variety of pests. With the addition of earwigs and crazy ants to the label, PMPs can now rely on Complete to control an even larger range of pests.

The unique bait matrix in Maxforce Complete was specially designed by Bayer researchers to take advantage of the nutritional preferences of a broad range of perimeter pests, including ants, cockroaches, crickets, silverfish and now earwigs and crazy ants. Granules within the formula contain different combinations of food ingredients that accommodate the changing food preferences of a broad spectrum of pests throughout the year, Bayer says.

With the recent introduction of the flip-top 8-ounce container for application, Complete will also help PMPs achieve sustainability goals. The refillable container helps prevent waste by providing better control of the product as it is applied.

J.T. Eaton

www.jteaton.com

Canada has granted patent registration on J.T. Eaton's Little Pete Multiple Catch Mouse Trap, and is patent pending in the United States. According to J.T. Eaton, when used with the Speedy Clean Ramps, the entire ramp unit is quickly and easily removed and replaced without tools. The dual locking system holds ramps securely in place. This feature offers professionals peace of mind, as they replace just the part of the trap that has been soiled by catching mice, not the entire unit.

The Little Pete trap also can be used as an insect monitor/trap, the company says. Damp areas are no problem for the traps, as they feature pop-down tabs to elevate the unit slightly to help avoid moisture issues. They also feature holes for wire or cable ties, to secure the traps in place. The powder-coated, low-profile Little Pete is available with solid or clear lids, as well as private-label options.

LG Life Sciences

www.rockwelllabs.com

LG's FenvaStar EcoCap is a new product option for management of a number of fall pests including stink bugs (brown marmorated and kudzu), Asian lady bugs, ants, bed bugs and other nuisance pests. The product is also designed to provide perimeter control of mosquitoes, yellow jackets and bees.

The product is labeled for broadcast application for residual flea control both indoors and outdoors. FenvaStar EcoCap is sold in an 8-ounce Tip 'n Measure bottle, an ideal size for inventory management during uncertain economic times, the company says. It also provides a low purchase price point, allowing PMPs to try the product. The size also works well considering that many backpack sprayers or mist blowers have a 4-gallon tank, the exact match for one bottle of FenvaStar EcoCap at the high rate (2 ounce/gallon) or half the bottle for the low rate (1 ounce/gallon), the company says.
