Rockwell Labs Ltd
www.rockwelllabs.com
Rockwell Labs Ltd has introduced OutLAST Pro Foaming Agent. The broad-use, proprietary adjuvant can be used for foaming termiticides, insecticides and cleaning products, as well as foam marking, the firm says. The formula features a “caution” signal word and may be used at rates from ½ to 8 ounces per gallon. Rockwell says the target mid-rate for the product is 2 ounces per gallon, which will produce thick, long-lasting foam, with most materials.
OutLAST Pro features a much lower surfactant load compared to similar use products, which leaves less residue in the treated area and the environment, the manufacturer reports. OutLAST Pro is available in 1-gallon jugs and 16-ounce squeeze-n-measure bottles.

Technicide
www.technicide.com
Technicide has introduced the Techni-Baiter rodent bait station. Introduced at NPMA PestWorld 2014, Techni-Baiter stations are serviced from a standing position, eliminating the physical fatigue from bending, squatting and kneeling, the firm says. According to Technicide, routine service time for each station is decreased to seconds, reducing labor costs by 75 percent, eliminating the dreaded anticipation of servicing stations and improving morale. The stations also accommodate snap traps for non-baiting strategies.

The firm says it reduces technician fatigue, increases ease of operation and improves speed of service while maximizing product use. The reliability of this system has been proven with field testing by pest control operators in their service routines, ForeFront reports.
Designed with Smart Pressure Technology (SPT), the Power Pack provides a micro-air compressor and a military grade pressure switch for accurate pressure control and is powered by rechargeable lithium-ion battery cells.

Syngenta
www.syngentapmp.com/talonultrablok
Syngenta Professional Pest Management (PPM) has unveiled new Talon Ultrablok rodenticide. Formulated with the latest technology in rodent palatability, Syngenta reports Talon Ultrablok can provide PMPs with a tool to effectively control rodents and combat resistance. Talon Ultrablok contains brodifacoum, which has no documented cases of rodent resistance, along with unique ingredients that have been shown to improve acceptance of the bait, Syngenta added. Rodents need eat only a small dosage of the single-feeding active ingredient — including warfarin-resistant rodents.
Designed to be convenient for PMPs, Talon Ultrablok packaging is available as a 16-pound case with side and top handles, which contains two fully labeled 8-pound bags of product. Each bag is dual-walled and resealable for maintaining bait freshness, and can be placed individually in service vehicles. Talon Ultrablok joins Talon-G and Weatherblok XT rodenticide in Syngenta’s rodent control portfolio.

Liphatech
www.liphatech.com
Liphatech has introduced SoftSecure Technology (SST), a new rodenticide placement device for bait stations. To use, place the bait in the SST device, close the lid and go. The rodents feed on the bait directly through the bars, so the need to deal with bait rods is eliminated. Liphatech also introduced larger 40-gram pouches of FirstStrike and Resolv soft baits. With new, approved label language from the EPA, the pouches have wrappings that can be peeled off easily, making the bait ideal for the SST and eliminating paper shreds, the firm said.
Liphatech soft bait is wax-free and can be used anywhere traditional wax blocks are used. With no wax, the product has great palatability and does not melt in high temperatures, the company said.

Innovative Dehumidifier Systems
www.innovativedehu.com
Increasing energy-code requirements and high-performance building design have resulted in building envelopes that are built extremely “tight.” When coupled with smaller apartments, over-sized mechanical cooling and occupant behavior preferences, the result can be a perfect storm for elevated relative humidity and visible mold growth. To combat this, Innovative Dehumidifier Systems has introduced the IW-25-1 in-wall dehumidifier. The unit is installed between 16-inch OC studs, is recessed in the wall, and has a quiet operation with sound levels below 47 decibels – comparable to that of a mini-refrigerator, the company said. Additionally, the humidifier drains directly to a drain source (like a HUB drain) and can be plugged into a standard 110/120-volt outlet or hardwired to a breaker. In the event of a power failure, the IW25-1 automatically restarts to its most recent setting. The humidifier’s grille cover has tamper-proof screws limiting access to the operational controls, allowing property owners to control the use, rather than occupants.
The IW-25-1 was designed primarily for multi-family applications, but there also has been interest for additional applications such as vacation properties, single-family dwellings and basements, classrooms and medical facilities, the company said.

Xpel
www.xpel.com
Xpel’s paint-protection film kits can keep trucks looking better longer by protecting its two most damage-prone areas from daily wear and tear, the firm says. To protect rocker panels from road and tire debris, Xpel’s Rocker Panel Guards kit safeguards this large, vulnerable area of the vehicle. The kit contains 9 inches by 30 feet of rugged protection film that also can be used to shield doors, bed sides and fender flairs. Truck bed rails can be shielded from loading and unloading scrapes and chips with Xpel’s Bed Rail Guards kit, an alternative to installing metal or other bed-liner products. Each kit contains four inches by 17 feet of tough, removable film, enough to cover two bed rails.
Xpel says its Rocker Panel and Bed Rail Guards kits are easy to install and available in two styles: Clear Guard, an 8-mil polyurethane film with a clear-coat finish that is virtually invisible when applied and provides maximum shine and durability; and Black Guard, made of embossed 13-mil PVC, which hides existing damage and helps protect against new scratches and abrasions. Xpel protection films are designed to withstand years of wear and tear, but can be removed easily if needed.
