PROVO, Utah – Jeremiah Olsen and Scott Hunter, founders of Pocomos, launched a software management system in September designed to meet the demands of pest management professionals. Their new software was designed to offer paperless transactions, be simple to use, and the ability to have complete control over reporting through a versatile and customizable interface.
“Every pest control company has different needs. Our system provides a cross-platform solution that is mobile and tailored for each individual company that uses it. Our web-based software gives its users the ability to receive live updates on a route or add a service to an existing account from any web-enable device,” Olsen said.
The new software aims to eradicate reams of paper used for contracts and technician routes along with the hours of office employees that are necessary for day-to-day operations with a traditional system. This not only dramatically cuts costs, but provides a better customer experience where customers can access account information on the Internet to pay their bills, request a service, and even get updates on the location of their technician.
Beyond its ability to contribute to the bottom line, the Pocomos platform breaks down reporting to a granular level. A user can decide to run an analysis by zip code, technician, type of treatment administered, or many other variations of information. Once a user determines the type of reporting desired, that report can be turned into a widget that will push live updates to a mobile device.

“Everything about Pocomos was built for the users, both the customer and the administrator,” said Hunter. “Most that are familiar with the industry understand the difficulty in dealing with technical support. Pocomos is designed and managed by former pest control operators who understand the needs of a pest control branch. Pocomos’ mission is to redefine the software industry by providing amazing customer support.”
By integrating business processes, Pocomos improves communication, operations, and efficiency. Pocomos ensures awareness of customer’s needs and provides real-time information that enables employees to better satisfy customers, the company reports.
