HOMESAFE INSPECTION INC.

www.homesafeinspection.com

HomeSafe Inspection Inc. has developed termite and home inspection technology that combines thermal imaging (infrared) and acoustic (listening) sensors that can "see" and "hear" through a building’s walls, ceilings and floors. Using this technology, inspectors can uncover hidden flaws and damage that would go undetected in an ordinary visual inspection, the company says. The HomeSafe process begins with a thorough infrared scan for termites and other pests, structural flaws, water damage, leaking pipes, faulty wiring, heat and energy loss, and roof, ceiling and duct work problems. Once "suspicious" areas are identified by the infrared scan, HomeSafe follows with an in-depth visual inspection of the property, paying special attention to the "suspicious" areas to determine the nature and cause of the problem. If the infrared scan detects signs of moisture pointing to termite activity, HomeSafe’s acoustic sensors and specially designed pattern recognition software (mounted on a portable PC) can detect and confirm termite noises and pinpoint their exact location for treatment.
