Innovative Pest Control Products, the manufacturer of the Ant Cafe and Ant & Roach Buffet, recently announced the registration of “Gourmet Ant Bait Gel.” Gourmet Ant Bait Gel contains 6% Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate (DOT) (a boric acid salt) for fast, thorough control, the company says. The bait matrix is a blend of sugars that attracts a wide variety of ants, the company says. “Gourmet Ant Bait Gel” is the only bait available with “Unitract,” a patented attractant that makes the bait more acceptable to ants seeking a protein-type bait. “Gourmet Ant Bait Gel” is supplied in a plastic syringe containing 1.1 fluid ounces of bait. The product is packaged with six syringes in a zippered plastic bag (to keep it free of chemical odors) with eight bags in a case.

Hot Foot Electrak is the only electric track repellent that bends in the vertical and horizontal plane, the manufacturer says. Corners or curves can be made without cutting the electric conducting wires and no corner pieces are needed. The entire system can be fitted without drilling any holes, which is great for steel beams, rooftops, historic buildings, etc., Hot Foot reports. The track now has a V-section profile in the center that increases the resistance to short-circuiting by up to 66 percent. This profile actually increases the distance between current conducting wires without increasing their horizontal separation. Using this design, Hot Foot now offers two new power boxes that will effectively charge up to one mile of track. One of these boxes is an outdoor, weatherproof solar powered box that needs no connection to any other power source. In addition, this new V-section increases the strength of the product, enabling a person of more than 240 pounds to stand on its surface without damage.
