WHITMIRE MICRO-GEN
www.wmmg.com
Whitmire Micro-Gen recently introduced the Prescription Treatment® (PT) brand 345 Applicator, an easy-to-use applicator that features five application rates to help ensure accurate and efficient bait placement. This tool is designed to be used for gel bait applications, such as Whitmire Micro-Gen’s Prescription Treatment brand Avert Cockroach Gel Bait Reservoirs. The PT 345 Applicator is ideal for any application that demands precise bait placements, such as crack and crevice treatments, the company says. It offers five application settings — each one increases bait placement size by 1/10 of a gram, beginning with 0.1 grams. To ensure a consistent dose, the PT 345 Applicator uses negative air pressure to pull bait through the delivery tool. This results in less potential for dripping.
The PT 345 Applicator comes with its own specially designed pouch that holds two extra gel bait reservoirs and can be secured on a tool belt. The PT 345 is easy to carry and features a wide, ergonomically designed trigger. It also boasts sturdy construction — for optimal dependability — and can be taken apart quickly and cleaned easily with soap and water, the company says.

PEST CONTROL INSULATION SYSTEMS
www.tapinsulation.com
Pest Control Insulation Systems Inc. (PCIS) announces the formal launch of its product — T·A·P thermal, acoustical, pest control insulation. T·A·P, an EPA-labeled pesticide, is the result of the marriage of energy efficient, all-natural cellulose insulation and a boric-acid based pesticide. PCIS spent more three years developing and testing T·A·P. The T·A·P sales and installation program is designed with the pest professional in mind as it can generate significant revenue to pest management professionals and provides energy savings and pest control to their customers, the company says. T·A·P is labeled against termites, cockroaches, silverfish, booklice, ants and earwigs. The initial T·A·P programs focus on installing T·A·P in attics as an “attic cap” over the home-owner’s existing insulation, yet T·A·P can also be applied to walls, attics, basements and crawlspaces in new construction.
HOT FOOT AMERICA
www.hotfoot.com
Hot Foot America announces the introduction of a new range of “kites” with a proven record in repelling pigeons, gulls and Canada Geese, the company says. The “Bird Frite” kite is made in a shape that mimics the shadow of birds of prey. It has excess material on the wings that rustle and flap in the wind. When the kites are in flight, pest management professionals have a visible deterrent moving in a pattern with air currents exactly as do birds of prey when circling overhead.
Birds, such as pigeons, gulls etc., have an inherent fear of standing underneath a hovering, flapping object. This is due to their primal fear of feeding underneath a bird of prey. The Hot Foot “Bird Frite” kite is made in a shape that appears threatening to birds. Natural selection over time has favored those birds that react to real, life-threatening situations, such as the presence of hawks, etc.
